Apex Engineering Incorporated was responsible for the feasibility study, topographic and property surveys, utility design, site grading, drainage, and roadway design for the entire Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Sussex County, Delaware. This three-phased project spanned a total of 2 years. The company designed a central feature that is the focal point as well as the gathering location for holiday events and other celebrations. Apex was also responsible for the contract documents, reviewing bids, the recommendation of a contractor to the State, administering the payment requests, reviewing of the construction, and were ultimately responsible for final approval.
